JobTsek does not ask you to create an account, upload files, or send us documents. Your marked check answers stay in browser session storage unless you choose to share or send something yourself.

What this notice covers
This Privacy Notice explains how JobTsek handles information in the current free opportunity risk check, FAQ, report, and public policy pages.
JobTsek is designed to work without accounts, uploads, document review, payments, analytics, advertising profiles, or a database of user reports.
Information handled by the check
The check lets you choose optional context, such as where an opportunity came from, and mark risk indicators that match what you saw. These choices are used to build your report in the same browser session.
The current check does not ask for your name, ID number, address, phone number, banking details, document number, employer documents, CV, photos, passwords, OTPs, or free-text story.
Like most hosted websites, the hosting infrastructure may process standard technical information needed to serve the site, such as IP address, requested URL, browser or device details, date, and time. JobTsek does not use that information for advertising or user profiling in the current product.
Browser session storage
Your selected check answers are stored with sessionStorage in your browser tab so that you can move from the check page to the report page and refresh the report without losing the result.
This storage is tab-scoped and temporary. Use Clear everything or Start over to remove the selected answers from the check flow. Your browser may also clear session storage when the tab or browser session ends.
Copy, download, and share actions are started by you in your browser. If you choose to share a report through WhatsApp, email, or another platform, that platform handles the shared content under its own terms and privacy rules.
What JobTsek does not do
JobTsek does not sell personal information, run advertising cookies, create user accounts, accept uploads, collect payment details, or send your selected report to an employer or recruiter.
JobTsek does not verify employers, recruiters, job boards, vacancy documents, messages, or links. It gives a risk estimate based on the indicators you choose.
External links
JobTsek links to official and third-party websites so you can verify information or seek help. Those websites are not controlled by JobTsek and may process information under their own notices.
Use official websites directly where possible, especially before paying money, sharing sensitive documents, clicking suspicious links, or travelling for an opportunity.
Privacy questions and rights
If you email JobTsek, we will process the information in that email so we can read and respond to your message. You can contact jobtsek@stefdevs.com for privacy questions or requests about personal information you believe JobTsek holds about you.
South African privacy guidance under the Protection of Personal Information Act explains rights such as being told why personal information is collected, asking whether an organisation has your personal information, requesting correction or deletion in appropriate cases, and objecting to certain processing.
You may also lodge a POPIA complaint with the Information Regulator if you believe personal information has been processed unlawfully.
Security and updates
JobTsek keeps the product intentionally small to reduce the amount of information handled. No website can guarantee perfect security, so do not send sensitive identity, banking, password, OTP, or document details through any channel unless you are sure it is appropriate.
This notice may be updated as JobTsek changes. The review date at the top of the page shows when this page was last checked.
