WhatsApp-ready warning blurbs

Before you pay for a job, send your ID, click a link, or travel for an interview, check the warning signs first: jobtsek.co.za

Real job processes should not require upfront payment to apply, register, unlock tasks, or secure an interview. Pause and verify first.

If a job post asks for eWallet, voucher, crypto, Cash Send, OTPs, passwords, or ID copies over WhatsApp, do not rush. Check it first.

10-minute JobTsek activity

  1. Show a fictional job message.
  2. Ask what feels normal about it.
  3. Ask what feels risky.
  4. Open JobTsek and mark the warning signs together.
  5. Discuss what the person should verify before paying, clicking, sending documents, or travelling.
  6. End with the rule: pause, check, and ask someone you trust before acting.

Print the checklist and help visitors compare a message against common risk indicators without collecting their documents.

NGOs and churches

Share official-source links and direct help numbers with people who may be under pressure to pay or travel.

Community WhatsApp admins
